Do you know how to identify NLO's needs and translate them into feasible solutions that fit within the existing laws and regulations? If yes, we are looking for a full-time Business analyst for our office in the Hague.

You will be working at one of the top intellectual property firms in Europe and the largest legal consultancy in the Netherlands. NLO protects our clients' innovations, trademarks and designs.

 

What you will be doing as a Business Analyst?

It is your responsibility to keep business processes and data of high quality by performing analyses and initiating improvement measures if necessary.

Information management

  • Acts as liaison between business processes on one hand and IT system on the other. Makes proposals for improvement and provides IT solutions for business issues.
  • Translates requirements from business processes into functional solutions based on the applicable architecture vision and manages these.
  • Brings the outside world in and translates new developments into the own business processes.

Processes & data

  • Describes the processes in a systematic way that is accessible to users.
  • Identifies and analyses all primary work processes, assesses compliance with legal and other regulations, assesses risks and comes up with proposals for improvement.
  • Analyses the information required and present and translates it into system specifications.

Compliance and risk management

  • Performs risk analyses as a basis for improvement proposals.

 

Requirements

Completed hbo/wo education (towards Information Management, Business Administration or similar);

  • 3-5 years' experience in a consultancy role in the field of business processes and IT;
  • Lean Six Sigma, at least Green Belt.
  • Affinity with IT and information systems; affinity with the world of Intellectual Property is an advantage.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
  • Out- of the box thinking, proactive, analytical ability, persuasiveness, tenacity, innovative, planning and organising.

NLO offers a full-time position (38.75 hours) with a salary between €3,947 - €5,260. Besides the salary, we offer an excellent secondary benefits package, including an attractive bonus scheme, a good pension scheme, training opportunities, the possibility to develop yourself broadly and the prospect of permanent employment. You will have a beautiful workplace in our modern office in New Babylon next to Den Haag Centraal station.
